Peter Corasis

Guitar/Lead vocalist

Peter’s passion for music started at just two years old, when he would sing along to whatever was playing on the radio—often louder than the music itself. It didn’t take long before that passion turned into something more. One day, he picked up his sister’s toy guitar and, without any guidance, played “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” completely by ear. That moment was the spark. By the time he turned 10, Peter had begun formal training in both guitar and vocals, quickly picking up advanced techniques and developing a sharp musical ear that allowed him to learn and write music instinctively.

At age 9, before even starting lessons, Peter attended his first heavy metal concert—a life-changing experience that deepened his connection to the genre. There, he had the chance to meet members of Metal Church and Geoff Tate of Queensrÿche, legends in the metal world. That experience left a permanent mark, fueling his drive to create music that hits with the same intensity and emotion.

Since then, Peter has dedicated himself fully to his craft. He’s written and copyrighted multiple original songs and has carved out his identity as the lead guitarist and vocalist for Starless. Known for his explosive stage presence and emotional delivery, Peter brings a mix of raw talent, discipline, and vision that continues to push the band forward.

Adam Luetkemeyer

Guitar/Vocals

Adam’s love for music started practically at birth. By age two, he was already asking Santa for a drum set and proudly carried a toy ukulele—his “guitar”—everywhere he went, including on family trips to Disney World. Music wasn’t just a hobby; it was part of who he was from the very beginning.

Shortly after starting kindergarten, Adam attended his first major concert—AC/DC—and everything changed. From that moment on, he begged for a real guitar, fully captivated by the power of rock and roll. His mom eventually brought home a mini sunburst Fender Stratocaster and a tiny practice amp. Adam was just five years old, but the connection was instant. Within a few lessons, he was already reading tablature and learning songs by ear on his own, showing a level of intuition and drive far beyond his age.

In first grade, Adam performed Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” at his first recital at the Northfield School of Music. He was the only electric guitarist on a lineup filled with classical piano pieces—and he stole the show. Despite being shy and nervous backstage, that performance lit a fire in him. He walked offstage and declared he wanted to perform every weekend. From that point forward, music became his path.

Adam continued to grow not just as a guitarist, but as a well-rounded musician. He later picked up drums, piano, and—bringing things full circle—returned to the ukulele, which still holds a place in his musical arsenal. His passion also extends beyond performance into composition and production. He has even performed with the Chicago Soloists Symphony, showcasing his ability to blend classical and rock influences with ease.

At just nine years old, Adam met Seamus and Peter at Rock House in Wilmette, Illinois. That meeting sparked the formation of their first band, The Invaders, planting the seeds for what would eventually become Starless. Today, Adam is the band’s rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, known for his precision, creativity, and steady presence on stage and in the studio.

Seamus Hardt

Drums

Seamus is the drummer and rhythmic backbone of Starless. He’s been playing since age 7, but his love for music started even earlier—sparked by the opening riff of “Money for Nothing” by Dire Straits. Though he first tried electric guitar, it didn’t take long to discover that the drums were his true home.

The first song he learned was “Back in Black” by AC/DC, and from there, he dove deep into classic rock. His influences span from the ’60s through the early 2000s, and it shows in his solid, hard-hitting playing. Seamus has a natural feel for rhythm and groove, paired with an unshakable sense of timing that makes him the band’s anchor—on stage and off.

Always reliable and ready to go, Seamus brings a raw, instinctive energy to every performance. With a deep respect for the greats and a love for the genre’s roots, he keeps Starless grounded in the spirit of rock while pushing the band forward.

Zach Borys

Bass

Zach’s love for music began early, inspired by his first piano teacher—a multi-instrumentalist who opened the door to a wide range of styles and sounds. That early foundation stuck with him, but it wasn’t long before Zach began charting his own course. In middle school, he was so determined to learn Metallica songs that he gave up his recess time to practice them—on a ukulele, no less. That commitment and drive to play heavy music only grew stronger with time.

After experimenting with guitar, Zach eventually found his true voice on the bass. The instrument’s depth and power connected with him instantly, and it quickly became his focus. Today, Zach brings a gritty, melodic edge to Starless with his basslines—holding down the low end while adding his own creative flair to the band’s evolving sound.
